{eat} caprese small in size, big on delicious

I am a fan of caprese in every way, shape, and form. I will skip the Forest Gump-esque list, but trust me.

In salad form, caprese is often my go-to for gatherings and dinner parties (see here, herehere, oh and here). This weekend, for a casual gathering before an outdoor screening, I shrunk it down in scale to almost-bite-sized finger-friendly skewers, not even a little small on flavor… or cuteness.

Let’s be honest, you can never have enough cuteness.

cherry tomatoes, basil, fresh mozzarella, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt & pepper

one tomato, one ball of mozzarella, folded basil leaf, and a toothpick

    “Forrest Gump-esque”–excellent word choice!
